Is there an event that includes only swimming and biking - no running?

I know a triathlon includes all three. And a duathlon consists of biking and running. But is there anything that excludes the running?

    i don’t think your gonna find biathalon that doesn’t include running. Maybe you could just focus on biking or swimming insted of combing the two?

    There are, but they aren’t easy to find. They’re called Aquabike races, and if you google it you might be able to find one in your area.

    The only one I’ve ever been to was in Santa Rosa, CA. It’s part of the Vineman race, and it’s just a gorgeous course. Go to and click on Aquabike to get more info.
