Yes -- Consult the medical experts.  My son did last year.  He was recovering from surgery to repair his MCL and they encouraged him to cycle.  So there is hope -- BUT BY ALL MEANS do not take his situation to automatically associate it to yours.  Do as we did, and consult your doctor.</description>
