bruce_eel asked:
im’ a marathon runner and began cross training recently by biking. i can easily bike 25 or 30 miles and feel like i haven’t done anything after i’m finished. what distance should i have to be biking to get a similar workout to my 20 mile long runs.

Statue miles or nautical miles?
You Americans ***** me up. How about choosing a president that welcomes you to 2008 with metric?
Just bike for as long time-wise as you would run.

Sorry, I’m not answering your question, just responding to that idiot “Hi”
He’s talking about running so you can assume he’s doing it on land. Miles as in the miles Americans use for measuring distance,. If it cracks you up that Americans use standard in our daily lives, then you’re an idiot who needs to realize that there are more requirements for being witty than simply not being from America. “Statue miles or nautical miles?” That’s clever?
“I ran 100 meters.”
“Barometers or Iambic pentameters?”
That’s your joke. Read it and think about how stupid you are.
