Will biking frequently show immediate results when it comes to losing weight and toning muscle?

I love to ride my bike, but I am not a big runner. I know running is a great way to get in shape, but can biking do the same?

Biking is really great, but I won’t go as far as saying that it can give you “immediate” results. Losing weight takes time. I think it’s a good idea to try to lose weight by biking cuz it’s fun and can tone up the muscle in your hips, **** and thighs pretty fast. If you ride your bike 1 - 2 miles almost everyday, you should be able to feel the difference within 4 - 5 weeks.
