Bicycling?
Polly S asked:
I really want to ride my bike inside, and I have the perfect place for it but I need something to hold my bike up so I am bicycling but I am not moving, what are those things called where you can still work out and the wheels are still moving, but your not moving, please help, is it a certain tool, or some platform? well thanks.

A trainer will hold your bike still as you ride on it. Rollers is a frame with metal tube that you set the bike on and ride like you are on the road with no support to hold you up. Rollers are trickier but they teach you how to ride with a very smooth pedalling style. Rollers take longer to learn to ride as you have tolearn how to stay on them as you develope a better form. Trainers are easy to learn as the bike is clamped to one spot. You are probably thinking about a trainer as they are more common.

They are called bike trainers. Trainers range in price from about $69.99 to $999.99. The most basic is the Bell Trainer you can find on Amazon.com for 79.99 with free shipping. Personally, I would recommend the Minoura Mag 500r Magnetic Trainer for $139.99 cause it has the handle bar changer. Good luck. But be aware some of these trainers do not fit every tire size (mountain bikes have a harder time fitting).
