Just from my experience on a treadmill and bicycle and watching the little calorie counter thing, I believe that the walking would you get you there with burning more calories because you are supporting your own weight. However, the bike does have added benefits. It would get you there quicker and the breeze might be nice in your face. If you live in an area with no breeze, you are going to get there very hot and sweaty just walking. Be sure to take water with you on your journeys. You burn more calories being hydrated than if you become dehydrated. Good luck on your new lifestyle!</description>
